back from a harry potter and the order movie! the book rocks but the movie is mediocre! edit so many parts... let's see which parts they deleted/edited...
**spoiler warning**
1) when harry was attacked by the dementors, figg was talking about killing mundungus fletcher. however, figg in the movie didnt say anything about mr fletcher.
2) MOM (ministry of magic) didnt send harry a howler (if u call the one in the movie a howler).
3) in the movie, petunia didnt receive anything from dumbledore.
4) there's no portrait of sirius black's crazy mother.
5) mundungus is omitted totally from the movie.
6) there's no spring cleaning in the headquarters. as you know, while cleaning the place they found a 'heavy locket that no one could open', and we suspect it's one of voldy's horcrux.
7) buckbeak was in the headquarters in the book, but we didnt see him at all in the movie.
8) no one said anything about regulus black.
9) harry didnt get any badge from the telephone box when he went to MOM.
10) there was no care for magical creatures lesson.
11) it was luna who told harry about the thestrals (in the movie) and not hagrid.
12) when umbridge told trelawney to predict something, she didnt say "the eye does not see upon demand!" or something like that first.
13) there were very little scenes of umbridge accessing the teachers during lessons.
14) in the movie, it was umbridge and not willy widdershins and mundungus who overheard the DA in the hog's head.
15) it was neville and not dobby who told harry about the room of requirement.
16) there were no shelves of books and cushions in the room of requirement.
17) in the movie, it was cho chang (and not marietta in the book) who betrayed the DA.
18) no purple pimples.
19) nobody warned the DA of umbridge's arrival.
20) she destroyed the door of the room.
21) umbridge picked some 'trustworthy' students to her inquisitorial squad, and not asked them to apply for it, as it was shown in the movie.
22) in the movie, fred and george didnt set off their fireworks during an OWL examination.
23) no quidditch match, no fights, no lifelong ban, no locked firebolt.
24) fred and george didnt say anything about weasley wizard wheezes when they left hogwarts. they didnt leave behind any portable swamps either.
25) there was no mention of bode who was murdered by a disguised devil's snare.
26) st mungo's wasnt brought up at all.
27) sirius and snape didnt confront each other in the headquarters in the movie.
28) in the book, harry knew about occlumency lessons in the headquarters, but in the movie, he learnt of it in school.
29) there's a mysterious guy called nigel who joined the DA in the movie.
30) harry didnt see snape's worst memory!!!
31) there wasnt any pensieve!
32) no 'jar of cockroaches' exploded over harry as snape threw him out of his office.
33) we only saw bits of snape's worst memory - no exams, no lily evans, no james playing with the snitch etc.
34) in the movie, harry was caught in umbridge's office, and he didnt get to meet kreacher, and kreacher didnt lie to him. this is totally wrong!
35) the fighting between DA and the DE (death eaters) was so short and boring it's lame.
36) no brains attacked ron.
37) ginny didnt break her ankle.
38) neville didnt break his nose.
39) they didnt draw any fiery cross on any doors.
40) the whole thing is so lame.
41) bellatrix DIDNT kill sirius with avada kedavra, like what the film said. she used stupefy and sirius fell over the veil, and not dissolve into it.
42) this is the most outrageous one: luna actually used levicorpus on a death eater. levicorpus wasnt introduced until prince and here she was using it!
43) i forgot this one: in the film, there was no mention of rita skeeter interviewing harry. therefore there was no ban on the quibbler magazine.
44) in the book, voldy was protected from dumbledore by a shimmering silver shield. then he sent a fiery snake at him. then dumbledore made the snake go round the shield. but in the movie no such thing happened! in fact, what we saw was something like what happened when harry met voldy a year earlier.
45) no golden statue protected harry.
46) voldy should have apparated away with bella, but instead they left separately.
47) dumbledore didnt fight the DE.
48) i forgot this one: dumbledore didnt hex kingsley shacklebolt when he escaped from hogwarts when MOM came to arrest him, but instead just vanished.
49) harry knew of the prophecy in the MOM and not in dumbledore's pensieve as the book had said.
50) there was no lengthy conversations between the headmaster and harry after the ministry incident.
51) and finally, there was no mention of the two way mirror.
of course there are many other stuff but i cannot possibly remember everything. however, dont go watch the movie, it's a waste of your 7 bucks. sirius-ly.
