things to do before i die
whoohoo, yesterday's F1 race was damn exciting and interesting!!! i really have to be there one day! i tell you, i was so pumped up that not even my mother's bad mood could affect me! yes, she's always in a bad mood everytime she comes home from work. it's fucking annoying and she starts grumbling about the littlest of things. many a times i was feeling quite happy that day and when she came home that happiness turned into annoyance. i swear not to have a job like hers.
i'm so proud of singapore.
yesterday i made this list, things to do before i die:
1) watch arsenal play at the emirates
2) watch a world cup match
3) watch a euro match
4) plane spot at SXM
5) visit the concorde at toulouse
6) watch the singapore gp live
and that's all! i have to go for french exam now! wish me luck!

what the hull is happening?
arsenal 1 hull 2
right, i woke up today feeling quite excited cos of the F1 race tonight. no, i've not switched to F1, just that it's taking place in singapore and i'm damn proud of my country. and i suddenly remembered that arsenal played hull last night.... it must be 7-0, i thought.
and i went to check with the $0.21/sms epl score and down at the bottom of the screen was ars 1-2 hul.
i can't say that i can take losing, but there'll inevitably be the occasional loss. but losing to hull city, right after beating sheff u 6-0... i know that it wasn't the same players but it's still arsenal. from what i read at the arsenalsingapore forum, it seemed it was due to poor defence and arrogance. especially ade and rvp and gallas............ i really don't know what to think of ade. scoring a hat trick in a match and flopping the other. this isn't what i call consistent. and i've always thought gallas was a good defender, cos fifa06 rated him quite highly, but when people start calling silvestre (i still don't like him though) to replace him you know it's bad.
i'm pissed. i'm fucking pissed.

thinking about a levels when i'm still in sec3
it's 1 week and 3 days to the exams, and i've not started on ss. let me rank my subjects according to preference.
physics
french
a/e maths
chem
english
bio
chinese
history
ss
as you can see, the humans subjects come last. i don't see the point of learning humans. what jobs, other than a historian's, require the knowledge of collectivisation, industrialisation, and the treaties of brest litovsk and versailles? and who on earth will dig up sources and compare them? definitely not pilots (i.e., me)
and only PAP wannabes will enjoy SS. serious.
i told my cousin, sometimes i wish i were taking my o's this year. like, a few more months and all the burden is gone and i can finally go flying. and i can finally say goodbye to history and SS and bio. these few days i keep day dreaming about life after A's. you got it right - A's. and i havent even cleared sec3 yet. i think about applying for the pilot's job at the air force right after i get my results. and after 25 months of training i'll apply for a pilot's scholarship to a local uni (i've given up wanting to study in france). at least, that's my plan.
mum says i might not become a pilot and i agree with her. read somewhere that not every batch of trainees become pilots. i do think of what if i don't become a pilot. be an aerospace engineer, i say, since that was what i previously wanted to be. but if i do become an engineer, i'll always be in contact with planes, and instead of flying them, i'll be repairing them and wondering what could have been.
i know it's damn early to be thinking about these kinds of things. but i can't help it.

little bits and pieces including a rant against ss
i'm now using google chrome - and it's way better than IE. actually anything is better than IE. last time it was okay, but now it hangs every few pages. the only bad thing about chrome is that it can't really show flash objects well. like my arsenal animation.
yesterday we had NJRC. it sucked so much. and our bot was no better. haha. i can't wait to tear it apart.
i also had to go to MOELC to hand in the cheque for the france trip but i couldn't make it (NJRC was from 8 to 6) so my mum helped me hand in. and she got me a window seat because they put 'window seat' on my cheque :D i am now assured of an inflight entertainment that is like nothing on earth.
french oral sucks. they'll give us this paragraph and you'll have to talk about it. the problem is that the content has nothing to do with singapore or myself and there's nothing to talk about. or very little. the topics are even more difficult that the english ones and they expect us to talk about it in french. dammit. i am so going to flunk french EOY.
i can't bring myself to study SS. i hate SS more than i hate bio, chem, chinese and history combined. SS is there to spam the brain with useless stuff (i won't call it information) and lower everybody's L1R5s. SS is there to bring out the crap in everyone and it's essentially a government propaganda.
i don't care if i fail history. i dont'give a fuck if i fail SS. but the world will collapse on me if i fail english, maths or science.
