whee shall continue my europe story!
day 7
woke up at 6 plus (it looked like 9) and had a measly breakfast. then, we took a bus to engelberg, which is near mt titlis. google the name if you like.
it's the first 360 degree revolving cable car in switzerland i think. sounds interesting, right? wait till you really go there. the thing was revolving so slowly when it reached the top we only turned 1 round. and i thought it was much more exciting, given all the publicity...
the cable car ride up was so exhilarating!!!!!!!! can see the snow capped mountains in the horizon (the alps) and lush greenary all around!! below us were some cows who were grazing lazily on the grass, and the cowbells strapped around their necks jingled harmoniously as they chewed on their food! (gosh this sounds like a descriptive description) :DDD i love the dong-dong-dong sounds they make! so cute! i wanted to buy a cowbell as a souvenir but they were soooooooo ex... 1 small bell for 11 swiss francs (about 13 sing dollars) --"

the higher up we went, the more SNOW :D we saw. it was my first time seeing REAL snow and i went really crazy!!!
finally, we reached the summit of mt titlis. we were told not to rush out and go crazy playing as this would make us breathless real fast. so i had to suppress my excitement and tread slowly on the pure white snow, taking care not to run around.
oooooh the snow!!!!!!! it was like ice kachang but much much nicer! the snow crystals were so cool! i took off my gloves and played with them and i really can't contain my excitement! one of my travelmate threw a snowball at me and the cold stuff dribbled down my back. snow!!!!!! i love it so much!
climbed a snow dune or whatever you call it and the view from the top was... SIMPLY WONDERFUL is just an understatement!!!!!!!!!! I TELL YOU IT WAS ELECTRIC IT WAS MARVELLOUS IT WAS CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! no words can describe the breathtaking sight... *screams*
spent outside for 1h before going inside. explored the souvenir shops but had no money to buy any. lunch was a simple sandwich which cost CHF6... --" food in switzerland can really burn a gigantic hole in our inflammable pockets...
when we got back to lucerne, we could do whatever we wanted. so we took a walk around the town, and went to this place called bucherer to collect free souvenir spoons. they sell rolexes, tag heuers, omegas and goodness knows what famous watch brands there. it's a well known fact that the swiss are pro at watches. but we could only get that spoon because we were more than broke...
visited this ultra famous chapel bridge which was nearly destroyed in a 1993 fire. incidentally, it was henry's birthday when it caught fire...
went to this train station nearby and saw this sign..
what does it mean? to me, it means that u'll lose when u buy toto or lotto. which is what happens to almost everybody...
that night the adults went to the casino near the hotel while i trudged back to our room expecting a boring night ahead. then i switched on the TV and saw FRANCE vs PORTUGAL in the U21 FESTIVAL in TOULON and i began cheering like crazy! france won 1-0 thanks to kevin cameira! the #10 guy also not bad!
france won! i hugged my jersey and my flag to sleep. ^^
