yesterday was the bloody open house. i overslept! actually i had to meet tenna at macs at 8am but i woke up at 8.15. then when i reached school i realised she also overslept. so nevermind lah. haha! i hate explaining IPW to everybody and so much of the work was left to the truth ppl. and they're better than us anyway.

then something really amazing happened. tan actually talked to us and smiled! imagine tan smiling! :O and she began talking to me about football and france (as i was reading france football, a french magazine)! o.0 i was so terrified i could only smile back! what the hell happened! this is so crazy. but it's good though. hope she'll stay this way..

we abandoned our job and went to canteen to slack, with ping. and then we went to drama studio watch the performing arts. yay i like the string orchestra and choir! after that we went home, haha.

and then later that afternoon i went to the national stadium with my dad. field of dreams - a tribute to the national stadium. singapore ex-int'nl vs malaysia ex-int'nl. we scored first! the goal was damn nice. but then malaysia equalised.

and then was the australia singapore match. some guy whose name i forgot lit the cauldron. i tell you, the fans were lousy despite what the newspapers said about the kallang roar spuring our players on. there wasnt any kallang roar, but a kallang whimper. a bunch of australian fans nearby were cheering themselves hoarse throughout the match, but us? we could only manage the occasional cheer. and we only knew the butoh cheer! if you call it a cheer! there was one moment when the whole stadium was so quiet. because the australians stopped cheering. lol.

the australians were much better than us. they were damn fast, and accurate. we were too slow and lost pocession easily. haha.

in the end we were beaten 3-0. viduka brace, and harry kewell. bah. when kewell scored, some liverpool fans jumped up and bowed towards him! lol it was funny. makes me think, what if the french team came. and one of them scored. yay i'll definitely do the same. sadly it's the australian team, which i dont support.

after that was the closing ceremony. then there was the fireworks. i was expecting a longer fireworks display but there wasnt. but who cares. the music was so loud i could feel it inside me. we were damn close to the speakers what.

some pics:
