had lunch at din tai fung with my grandmas and parents and aunt and it was superb. then we went to terminal 3 where i saw the a380, again!

i never get tired of looking at the a380, really!!!
and then i wanted to go to changi coast road, so off we went. not long after we arrived there, i saw this huge plane with 2 engines on each wing landing and i was so certain it was a boeing 747, because i forgot SIA had 2 a380s and since there's 1 a380 at T3, this plane was definitely a 747. but what do you know, it was a a380!!!!!! i was so shocked and i didn't have time to take out my phone to take a picture. and the camera was with my dad.
so i sprinted after the plane like i were running in a 100m race. then i grabbed a red towel (which my mum brought along, presumbly to sit on but she didn't) and started waving like crazy. i don't know if the pilots saw me. anyway the plane did a u-turn and went back where it came from along the runway! i thought it was going to T3 but in hindsight, that was a lame thought because if it were going to t3 it wouldn't have landed on this runway in the first place.
and as it disappeared from view i turned my attention to a b777 taking off. and i thought no more about the a380 again.
and suddenly whoosh, it came flying above our heads! and boy, this giant was so silent you'd thought a small plane just flew by! i was so mesmerised by the plane i DIDN'T TAKE THE CAMERA OUT AND TAKE A PHOTO. :(
i reckoned it was a test flight. because which plane carrying passengers would land and then take off immediately? so i kinda hoped it would return later. hours flew by and so did many a320s, a330s, b737s, b747s and b777s. but still no a380s. my parents were asking me to leave but what if we left and the a380 came?
i grew increasingly impatient and my heart sank as each landing aircraft wasn't an a380. so i watched a b777 take off and went back to the car, cursing myself for not taking a photo of the flying a380.
but whaddaya know, as we drove along changi coast road, i turned my head and looked at the runway and saw the a380 land!!! we turned around and chased after the plane. when we caught up with it, i leapt off the car and ran after it, camera in hand. some planespotters were gathered nearby and they too were taking pictures of the plane.

2 of the best shots.
and the plane turned and showed its butt!

a lufthansa 747 barged into the scene and i took a picture of both their asses.

brilliant day for me.
and even better, a puny b737 (compared to the a380) also came and i took a picture comparing it to the a380. talk about ownage! and imagine the scrambling in the 737 as everyone dashed to the look at the a380 close up! :D

BYE BYE A380. SEE YOU NEXT NEXT SUNDAY AT THE SINGAPORE AIRSHOW!!!!!!!!
