it's shocking, the rate i'm blogging nowadays. i'll hit 500 posts in no time.
we played football again. this time the drink stall uncleS were playing. yes, mr azim and his bro wahib. and the usuals, mr ng, mr tan, mr imran etc.
and i think i pulled a muscle really badly. the day before yesterday i hit a shot that went wide but as soon as i hit the ball my right thigh felt like it was going to break apart. stupid description i know but it really hurt like mad. and although it didn't hurt yesterday, the pain came back today.
and for the record, it's not juggling.
became 'crippled' halfway during the match. i couldn't even run after the ball, or stop running because the leg would hurt again. but hey, i can train my left leg. i'll use it exclusively for the next few weeks.
by the way, mr tan (the chinese one) is probably the best footballer in school. yeah, the stuff he does, we can only dream about. haha.
yesterday i flew my cessna 172 to kuala lumpur. it was the most boring flight ever. firstly, the airport is freaking far, and it took me an eternity just to complete 1/3 of the trip. secondly, the idiotic ATC kept saying "cessna 0MS climb and maintain 5500" and then as i was reaching 5000 feet he suddenly said "cessna 0MS descend and maintain 4000", and as i was approaching 4000 he said "climb and maintain 5500" omg i want to smack him! and he kept telling me to "turn left heading 285" and i was halfway through the turn when he told me to "turn right heading 310" like WTF was he thinking, making me turn here and turn there!
i managed to land my cessna safely though. but after that i didn't make the return journey back to singapore. next time, i won't fly IFR, although the ATC will tell me where to go. i'll fly VFR and rely on my trusty GPS.
oh yes, i have to stop using glass cockpits, the piper warriors that SYFC uses don't have glass cockpits. I must get used to analog instruments...
