think i made a mistake? i wish.
spuds scored against themselves and i thought i'd gloat at them, but in the end we made fools of ourselves. AGAIN. we lost to a team that we should've won. AGAIN. we played so badly after a brilliant match. AGAIN. we had our chances and couldn't take them. AGAIN.
dammit, what the fuck is wrong!!!!! we hadn't lost to AV at home for 15 years for goodness' sake. and this was the same team who beat manure just a week ago. losing to fulham, hull, stoke and now aston villa hardly makes us title contenders.
our attacks kept petering out, passes got intercepted, ie we gave away possession too cheaply. GAH. we could've easily lost by 4-0, if not for the penalty save and one other shot. i can't remember who, but he was unmarked but shot straight at almunia. yeah that one. my heart almost popped out of my ribcage.
PAH. i'm leaving for france in 12 hours and this match was the last match that i'd be watching before i leave and this is what i get.
this ain't working. we must have an overhaul of our squad. yeah, it's either the young guns to replace the senior sleeping ones or we buy a solid experienced player or two, to knock some sense into the players. or at least inject some passion into them.
come on arsenal......................
