we are by far the greatest team, the world has ever seen
arsenal 2 manure 1
went to a deepavali celebration at a nearby void deck. thought i might have my dinner there and go home at 8.30 in time for the match. but to my horror there was so many song and dance performances and lucky draws that the whole programme ended close to 8.25. after the last lucky person who got his prize, i thought it was all over and queued up to get my food. then the organiser stormed in with a thunderous look on his face and said that the performance wasn't over yet. turned out there was still a bangladesh dance to come... i couldn't wait anymore and i went home just in time to catch the match on livefooty.
so i skipped dinner... for arsenal.
they better not let me down, i thought. and by golly they didn't.
nasri's 2nd goal was amazing. i'll admit i wasn't really watching because i was thinking of something else. it had something to do with a plane, but i've forgotten already. but when i saw the replay, it was the arsenal that we know and love, all over again. the slick passing and precise finishing... sweet!!
amazing stuff. there were heart stopping moments too. like the free kick at the first few minutes. i've never seen a free kick that close. but we were lucky that roon was off form, and ron was off target. and the clichy's near-own-goal... my heart almost slipped out of my mouth. we also need to keep possession. the last 6 minutes was jittery. and that's an understatement. was it totnumb all over again?
but no it wasn't and we won 2-1 against manure! yeah! i'm so happy! i still have my arsenal shirt on! whoohoo!!!!!!!!!!!

about me

Just a nobody who likes planes, football and classical music. A weird combination.
Has a strange liking for old/dead Russian composers and pianists, with the notable exception of A.Lubiantsev.
Supports Arsenal FC. Thinks A330s are hot.
