to my snowball
i saw you on the car
a layer of white on the roof
gleaming under the sunshine
i reached out my hand to grab you
you felt so cold in my hands
but it didn't matter
my snowball
i held you in my palms
my fingers were so cold they went numb
i could feel my blood freezing
as they lost heat to you
but it didn't matter
my snowball
by the time i reached home
i couldn't feel my fingers
whlie you were dripping like crazy
making little puddles on the floor
but it didn't matter
my snowball
i put you on the ledge
out in the open
where you could see the snow falling (they still are)
you were melting away into nothingness
but it doesn't matter
my snowball
now you're gone
but the snow still keeps falling
soon the trees will be covered with snow
soon the cars will be buried in snow
and i will have another snowball to play with
and another lame poem to crap up
