planespotting

went planespotting with my dad yesterday. we went to a new location - changi south industrial area. the landings were amazing, the noise was monstrous and the planes were flying really low. we saw many SQ 777s, an AF 773, a BA and a QF 744, and a couple of MI 320s. below are the better shots i took (submitted some to a.net)

THE MAIN EVENT
this was the reason why i was here, the reason why i held my bladder for a whole hour. this is the A380.

it was almost 7pm and my timetable told me that the A380 would come anytime. i was sitting on the pavement, getting restless, when i heard the unmistakable roar of the plane engines. another plane! i leapt up and aimed my camera at the sky, ready to take a picture straight away. AND THEN i saw the distinctive winglet looming over the buildings and i knew at once that it was an A380.

"IT'S HERE!!!!!!!!" i bellowed to my dad who was slacking in the car across the street. took only one picture (above) of the magnificent bird but i'm kinda pleased with it. :D

we went to terminal 1 for dinner and i thought i might check out the viewing mall. i wasn't disappointed! i saw a KLM 772 and an AF 773!!! :D

i edited it a bit but i think the KLM blue is quite unnatural. will edit it again.

yesterday's planespotting session ROCKED
