epic fail, doc
that's right, i'm a failure. i'm failing in resolution #1, "use the comp only during the weekend". and i am NOT proud of it. for every extra minute i spend on the computer, i swear inwardly to myself. so far for this week i haven't used the comp only for yesterday. i kept convincing myself i had something important to do and it required the use of the comp. but somehow after doing what i needed to do i found myself surfing a.net and blindly adding pictures to my photo album (which has over 1900 photos)
my latest reason for being online is to learn shorthand. yeah, what a lame excuse. i am in fact here to waste my time. actually i don't even know how to waste my time. yeah here i am spewing crap again.
maybe i should waste time in a better way. like blogging about better things. like just now.
the motivational workshop was one of the better ones i've attended. partly because it involved the coach sharing his experiences as a trainee pilot in the air force, and also a screening of clips from the movie, Goal, which i didn't watch because it featured newcastle (i mean, come on...) i didn't watch goal 2 because the plot involved real madrid beating arsenal, which they didn't (we won 1-0 at the bernabeu by the way)
but the more important thing is that this workshop did what it was advertised for - it motivated me. oh yes i hear you guys going "what?! doc is actually saying this?! i don't believe it! it's soooo NOT doc!" but it's true. i won't go into details, but i am more motivated to, to use a clichéd phrase, strive for excellence and the like. AND i think i am getting more and more determined to achieve this pilot dream of mine as each day passes. this flying dream will never remain a dream.

about me

Just a nobody who likes planes, football and classical music. A weird combination.
Has a strange liking for old/dead Russian composers and pianists, with the notable exception of A.Lubiantsev.
Supports Arsenal FC. Thinks A330s are hot.
